Bingo Winning Secrets. Audio Book. Vol. 2 of 7. 60 min.
Most people love parties the fun atmosphere, music, friends and opening gifts. A bingo party is all that and much more! Unlike the common perception, a bingo party is not only for children, many grown-ups and seniors enjoy it just as much.
Organizing a bingo party can be really easy and inexpensive. The first step would be to decide on a theme for the bingo party. Of course, the theme would depend on whether the party is for children or for grown-ups.
A really great idea is to decide on seasonal themes for the bingo party. Everyone love hunting eggs at Easter, or getting dressed up for Halloween and of course Christmas and Thanksgiving. Using National Holidays as themes is also a good idea. Other themes for grown-ups are beach parties, island themes, Oscars, Rock and Roll, Elvis, sixties music and many more. Great themes for kids are vacation, cartoons, space, sport heroes, movies and Barbie or Superman.
The next step would be to draw up a guest list. The organizer should make sure that all the guests would be comfortable with the theme. The organizer should ensure that the guests know at least a week before the bingo party whether its a dress-up party and whether they should bring anything. Copied or old bingo cards or special made theme cards can be used as invitations.
Of course gifts and prizes are always important at a bingo party. Each guest can bring a gift of which the prize limit can be established beforehand. They can pool all the gifts and the winners of the bingo games can each receive a gift as prize! Other rewards can be small tokens or gifts bought by the organizer.
Food at a bingo party is just as important as the game itself! Traditional bingo dishes like hot dogs, hamburgers and sandwiches can be served, or food can be prepared according to the theme. Fun platters and drinks are always a success. Of course the organizer does not have to prepare and buy everything. Each guest can be asked to bring a dish according to the theme. If the organizer wants specific dishes, he or she can assign a specific dish to each guest.
Bingo cards can be specially made or printed according to the theme. Many websites offers randomly generated cards for free. All the organizer needs to do is to print it out and/or decorate it according to the theme. If the cards are going to be used for future bingo parties, the organizer can have them laminated. If the party is for kids, the cards can be printed and copied. This way the kids can mark off their numbers with pencils or stickers and theres no mess to clean up afterwards! Fun markers and chips according to the partys theme work well for grown-ups.
A bingo party does not have to be for birthdays or special occasions. It can be a fun event for a girls night or a fundraiser for charities. No matter what the occasion, a bingo party is always fun!
