100 Hair Loss Tips

1. Be healthy for your hair.
When you become healthier, it follows that your hair would have improvements on its health as well. In other words, your hair would also grow faster than usual. Thus, it is best to follow healthy practices, if you want to grow your hair fast, as well as if you want it to look really beautiful.
2. Treat your hair well to make it grow faster.
If you want your hair to grow faster, you have to make sure that it is healthy as well. With that, you have to treat it well, so that it would become as healthy as possible. Treating it well means not using harmful products on it, and caring for it as much as you can each day.
3. Use products that are moisturizing.
Hair that is dry becomes brittle easily, which can also hinder hair growth. Thus, you have to make sure that your hair is full of moisture at all times. With that, you should make sure that you are using moisturizing hair products, such as your shampoos, conditioners, and such.

HAIR LOSS BASICS

Balancing Act: What Causes Baldness?
Your hair is going to tell an awful lot about you, including whether or not your body is in balance. Balance includes having a good physical and mental health, as well as having fully functioning organs and glands that are producing the correct hormones for your body. If a person is healthy, emotionally and physically healthy, their hair is going to be much more radiant and shining, and their scalp is going to be healthy and moist. Their hair is going to be able to tell you a lot about what their health state is, both with physical health and with mental health.
If a person is not well, either not physically well, or not mentally well, their hair is going to be rather dull and they are going to have a hard time focusing on what their hair should be like. In an unhealthy person, you are even going to see periods of time in which their hair falls out. It might become waxy, due to the overproduction of the glands that are providing your hair with nutrients.
It is also a true fact that any changes we might be going through in our lives are going to be displayed for all to see on our heads. If we are well and healthy and happy, our heads will reflect this. If not, our hair might begin to fall out, and sometimes a slump in physical or mental state can be easily reflected in our hair.
Even though challenge and excitement is something that we need to be attractive and active people, too much stress can actually cause our hair to fall out of our heads. When this happens, it will usually regrow itself if we can get our bodies regulated and get thought the periods of stress without falling back into them again.
Remember that if you are losing hair because of stress or if you are losing hair because of a slump you are in your life, you are actually in a good place to be, when it comes to your hair loss, because most of the time, once you fix what is going wrong in your life, your hair will re grow itself and your hair loss will actually be reversed. So, if you have lost hair due to stress or to being physically or mentally ill, the good thing is that once you get yourself healthy and back on track, you aren’t going to have to worry about your hair, it will come back on its own.

HAIR LOSS PREVENTION

Hair is the fastest growing tissue of the body, made up of proteins called keratins. Every strand of hair is made up of three layers: the inner layer or medulla (only present in thick hairs); the middle layer or cortex, which determines the strength, texture, and color of hair; and the cuticle, which protects the cortex. Hair grows from roots, which are enclosed in follicles. Below this is a layer of skin called the dermal papilla, which is fed by the bloodstream carrying nourishments vital to the growth of hair. Only the roots of hair are actually alive, while the visible part of hair is dead tissue, and therefore unable to heal itself. It is vital then to take care of the scalp and body in order to perpetuate hair growth and maintenance. Expensive treatments that claim to treat the visible hair and nourish it therefore are usually no more than bogus claims made to sell products.
Hormones called androgens, usually testosterone, can cause hair follicles to shrink, causing thinning of hair or eventual hair loss. Reportedly only bone marrow grows faster in our body than hair does. The average scalp contains 100,000-150,000 hair follicles and hairs, with 90% growing and 10% resting at any given time. Hair actually grows in three stages: anagen, catagen, and telogen. The anagen phase is the phase where
hair is actively growing, and of course this phase is longer for follicles in the scalp than anywhere else on your body, and lasts longer for women than men. It is natural for follicles to atrophy and hair to fall out, and this is called the catagen phase. This phase is only temporary, and eventually the follicle enters the telogen phase where it is resting.
These are the 10% at rest mentioned above. Normal anagen phases last approximately five years, with catagen phases lasting about three weeks, and telogen phases lasting approximately 12 weeks. As you see it is natural to lose some hair. Natural hair loss is considered to be in the range of 100 hairs per day. It is not apparent to most people that hair is actually being lost until more than 50% of a person’s hair is actually lost.
