Pligg Support

I find that /story/###/edit/ or editlink.php loads very slowly and needs php memory resources to be set very high to load at all. All other pages load fast. What can I do to fix this?
When you manually delete, as a user and publisher of the story, or as admin delete a story or remove all discarded stories from the Admin panel, the tag_cache table is deleted as well and you are left with no tags in the sidebar or the cloud, until you manually edit a story and add/remove tag or after a new story submit.

To fix this bug, follow these steps:
1- Open adminadmin_delete_stories.php
2- Go to line 82 or look for:

$query="DELETE FROM " . table_tag_cache;
if (!mysql_query($query)) {error_page(mysql_error());}

Insert right after it this code:

$sql="INSERT INTO ".table_tag_cache." select tag_words, count(DISTINCT link_id) as count FROM ".table_tags.", ".table_links." WHERE tag_lang='en' and link_id = tag_link_id and (link_status='published' OR link_status='new') GROUP BY tag_words order by count desc";
if (!mysql_query($sql)) {error_page(mysql_error());}

Save and close
3- Open delete.php
4- Go to line 133 or look for:

$db->query("DELETE FROM ".table_tag_cache);

Insert right after it this code:

$db->query($sql="INSERT INTO ".table_tag_cache." select tag_words, count(DISTINCT link_id) as count FROM ".table_tags.", ".table_links." WHERE tag_lang='en' and link_id = tag_link_id and (link_status='published' OR link_status='new') GROUP BY tag_words order by count desc");

Save and close.

What we did here is we rebuilt the tag_cache table after every delete.
In user profile after login all links are working like saved , but commented , Please if someone has the solution.
There is a bug with 'Saved Stories' on Pligg 2.0. I saved a story as a logged in user. After logging out and logging in as a different user, the same saved story shows up for this user.
I've read before on the old Pligg 2.0 discussion thread about overriding a modules' templates without directly editing it. Is this available now with RC2 or this has not yet implemented?
I'm using arabic on my Pligg and it's automatically RTL. All looks good so far except the comments area.

They don't look threaded. Please check attachments to understand what I'm trying to describe.

I changed the float of "comment-left" to right instead of left (comment2.png) but they still don't look threaded.

Any suggestions?
If you guys have no objections, I'd like to submit shortly a french language option upon installation.
This is a Fix I discovered and applied successfully.

Hi,

I noticed that the "Tweet this" feature in the Twitter Module showing the "Tweet Sending..." and "Tweet Submitted" images. I kept getting broken image errors.

So I went into the "sendtweet.php" file and found the line at the bottom where it links the images, and noticed that the directory was missing ".".
It was "./modules/twitter/templates/images/tweet_submitted.gif"
Instead of:
"../modules/twitter/templates/images/tweet_submitted.gif"

The same thing was an issue in the templates folder in the "twitter_js.tpl" file.
Set at:
"./modules/twitter/templates/images/tweet_sending.gif"
Instead of:
"../modules/twitter/templates/images/tweet_sending.gif"

Sorry if that was confusing, but if you followed me, and applied the fix, then it should work for you now, as it does for me.
Not a huge deal, but I figure whenever there are broken images it just makes the site seem more janky and unprofessional, so it's good to get things looking as clean as possible.

Blessings!

Ivan
I tried to post here a few minutes ago and received a Captcha that presented a box to enter my email address with a message about 'suspicious activity from 'this address'.

I just reloaded the Captcha again and it went away.
Hello,

There is a mobile template developed by Mobiweb that I really liked. Unfortunately, this template is not working in Pligg 2.0. Any plan on upgrading this template?

Thanks in advance.
