Whenever I submit a link to my own website, the link goes to the discarded items, why? Is there a setting I did wrong or is it a bug? Please help!
There is a bug with 'Saved Stories' on Pligg 2.0. I saved a story as a logged in user. After logging out and logging in as a different user, the same saved story shows up for this user.
I've read before on the old Pligg 2.0 discussion thread about overriding a modules' templates without directly editing it. Is this available now with RC2 or this has not yet implemented?
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone is making money with their pligg site? Because I find it very strange that there is practically nothing available to even attempt making money from such a site. I can't even email my members whenever I want.

I have almost 13000 members and growing with almost 100 new members per day, but no idea how to monitize it since there is nothing available for it. (unless I hire a programmer).

So anyone who makes money with their pligg site and if so, how?

Thanks

Nico
Hello pligg developer,
I have setup new stable pligg 2.0 for this site: http://www.pliggus.com/ And found one in-secured issue.

I think user level permission for "moderator" is not secured because a moderator can create new user as an admin. In this way a moderator make himself as an admin by a new account, after then he can do anything.

So I think, Pligg 2.0 need to develop user access level permission.

Whenever I try to edit a post in this support forum it gives me the error "No Category Selected".

I also strongly feel like we should have the ability to delete our own posts when we make mistakes. Or at least submit a ticket for deletion.

Thanks,

Ivan

Hi,

My Error Log has given me this notice:

PHP Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 in /libs/db.php on line 479.

I checked line 479, and this is what I found:

$this->show_errors ? trigger_error($str,E_USER_WARNING) : null;

I'm not sure what I need to do to this line to correct the php warning.
Help?

Thanks,

Ivan
Under the "Votes" tab towards the bottom there is a feature that makes it so that when a story receives a certain number of negative votes it is then discarded.
Well I spent hours today trying to figure out what was causing my stories to be automatically discarded as soon as I submitted them.
I finally discovered that it was the feature mentioned above.
I had mine set to ten. When I set it to zero, turning it off, my test stories started to appear again.
This would be a nice self moderating feature if it could be made to function properly.

Thanks,

Ivan
