Question: How to Disable User registration
Answer: provided by mbdungo 381 days ago
- 1 + Try to register another account while your register.php wasn't there.

1. If you can't register and you're still seeing users sign up, then change your password.

2. Try to use a CDN http://developingsites.blogspot.com/2012/09/how-to-use-content-delivery-network-cdn.html and maximize or make the “Security profile” of the CDN settings for your website "High".

Question: Under Construction Page Pligg 2.0
Answer: provided by mbdungo 382 days ago
- 1 + 1. Create an error 404 (not found) page.

2. Make sure you have mod_rewrite enabled on your Apache HTTP Server.

3. And have these directives below in your .htaccess file:

----------

Options +FollowSymlinks

RewriteEngine On

RewriteBase /

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.)?example.com$ [NC]

RewriteRule .* http://example.com/404.shtml [R=302]

----------

3. And that's it!

To make your website back to online again, just rename the file ".htaccess" to ".htaccess.default" .

Question: Warning & Error?
Answer: provided by mbdungo 382 days ago
- 1 + As its said the “Table 'vardelldata.pligg_config' doesn't exist in /home/content/27/10471427/html/social/libs/db.php on line 479” and “The pligg_config table is empty or does not exist.”

The best solution for this is to re-install your Pligg-powered website.

Question: Warning & Error?
Answer: provided by mbdungo 380 days ago
- 1 + Come on, make sure that you follow the instructions correctly, take a look at this guide http://developingsites.blogspot.com/2013/07/how-to-install-software-on-your-website.html or use an auto-installer http://developingsites.blogspot.com/2013/10/automated-installation-using-installer.html and make sure that your host meets the system requirements such as http://developingsites.blogspot.com/2013/10/get-domain-and-meet-system-requirements.html . Pligg requires a modern version of PHP and MySQL and some PHP functions. To test if your server is capable of running Pligg please view the "/install/troubleshooter.php" file after uploading files to your hosting server and if any errors appear on that page you may have a problem with either installing or running Pligg.

Question: Why I can't submit my first entry in my newly installed Pligg site?
Answer: provided by mbdungo 387 days ago
- 1 + I have found a sollution for this issue! Reinstall your Pligg website and don't try to configure all the settings again! Because there's a configuration which I didn't know yet, that if you change its value, submitting a new story on your Pligg site wouldn't work again! But all the statuses of a new stories will be a "New" stories and not a "Published" stories, but of course you can change it.
