Question: How to Modify "About" menu to "Blog"
Answer: provided by erikemanuelli 535 days ago
- 0 + Thanks for the reply, Lintu.

I have inserted the code as you suggested, this way :

{************************************

******** About Box Template *********

*************************************}

{checkActionsTpl location="tpl_widget_about_start"}

{#PLIGG_Visual_What_Is_Pligg#}

{#PLIGG_Visual_What_Is_Pligg_Text#}

Blog

{checkActionsTpl location="tpl_widget_about_end"}

But it does not work.

Could you please address me to the change to make it open to that link?

Now it's opening to the page below and then giving 404, not found. Thanks!

Question: Sidebar comments - Sidebar Stories
Answer: provided by erikemanuelli 535 days ago
- 0 + Thanks for your reply, ChuckRoast.

I have found to modify the number of displayed comments in the sidebar.

However, I can't find in settings where to change the number of

New/Published stories in sidebar.

Could you please give me a hint?

Thanks a lot for your help.

If I set it up on 1, it's working...

Question: Register/Login button from Menu not working
Answer: provided by erikemanuelli 546 days ago
- 0 + Thanks for looking at that, ChuckRoast.

I have removed the free "Back to Top" module.

Where do I clear the cache in the admin panel?

Thanks a lot.

Question: Register/Login button from Menu not working

- 0 + Thanks for your answer, ChuckRoast.

Now I have seen the admin panel options.

I cleared the cache, but the issue is still there.

I have made a screenshot, to help you a bit.

It looks like there is a rectangle, that is like a hole inside,

when I go trough which should be clicable links, I got no answer

from these buttons.

In other words, inside that rectangle links are not clickable.

The same for the menu, then, at login and register points.

Thanks for your efforts!

P.S. I should add that this issue happens only when I log out,

and try to log in or register, of course.

During the night, I had this error in my log:

[18-Oct-2013 15:59:11] PHP Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 in /home1/-myservername-/public_html/klinkk.com/libs/db.php on line 479

Edit.

I made another test.

I have removed all the modules NOT included in the Social Pro Kit for Pligg 2.0.0+., cleared the cache, but the issue is still there.

Question: want to chnage welcome message
Answer: provided by erikemanuelli 525 days ago
- 0 + Hi Yankidank,

the only "thank you" message I have found on lang_english.conf (or modify language in settings of admin panel) is :

// Start 1.0.2 Language File

PLIGG_Visual_Register_Thankyou = "Thank you for registering %s!Please check your e-mail (inbox & spam/junk folder) for activation link."

I would like to modify the "welcome message" when someone is registering and find this message on his inbox:

Message: Thanks for registering on our site!

Do you know where I can found this for tweaking?

Thanks for the help!
