Pligg Support

Search Results for "tinymce"
Hello,

I am in the process on testing Pligg so that we can use it for our university's students and lecturers. In the process, I searched the web for any (free) additional modules or templates I might find useful. Experienced users of Pligg will most probably have tested almost all of the modules I list below; yet, there should be new users like me that might be interested.

A word of warning: These modules were designed for an earlier version of Pligg. I did not face any major problems (minor problems are listed below) but this does not mean that it is safe to use them. There might be some security issues concerned and, in any case, mine is not an actual website. Make sure that you save a backup of your database before you install any one of them. You have been warned!

The source file is at https://github.com/Pligg/modules

The modules I tested are:

* featured - a bit problematic. I needed to validate featured stories manually through the database; otherwise, they are not displayed. Also, images are not displayed when I log out. I have not had time to try and figure out why.
* friends activity
* image upload
* online users
* sidebar facebook like box - I have not tested this effectively because -believe it or not - I do not have a Facebook account.
* socialbar - The bar remains right over the story text and makes reading difficult.
* tinymce
* wistie adsense - Although it was originally written for a template called Wistie, it works with current template
How to add, drag and drop image and video?..i use Tinymce module..if there is some modification can i do it
All I found about it was an ages old forum post, saying that it would be included in Pligg 2.0.

Apparently, it's not. My question is, how to add it anyway? I can make it appear, but neither the formatting, nor the added images show up in the submitted comments or posts.
