Hey, can anyone please help me understand how Pligg authenticates users and keeps track of them at and after login. I'm looking into having users sign in with twitter.
I'm making slow progress rummaging through the code, but it would be very helpful if someone just ran over flow with me and how the main logic works. Thanks a bunch.
After installation cms, noticed in admin panel error log lot of messages:

[06-Oct-2013 17:27:14 Europe/Berlin] PHP Deprecated: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use preg_replace_callback instead in D:xampplsahtdocsmainlibshtml1.php on line 141

[06-Oct-2013 17:27:14 Europe/Berlin] PHP Deprecated: preg_replace(): The /e modifier is deprecated, use preg_replace_callback instead in D:xampplsahtdocsmainclass.compiler.php on line 246

Using xampp for Windows:
Apache 2.4.4
MySQL 5.6.11
PHP 5.5.3
ERROR:
PHP Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '../settings.php' for inclusion (include_path='.') in /internal/class.config.php on line 51.

Line 51: include ('../settings.php');

Seems like an easy fix. Any hints would be helpful.

Thanks,

Ivan
Several times a day I get this error:

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get_template_vars() on a non-object in /modules/captcha/captchas/WhiteHat/main.php on line 9

For reCaptcha I believe it's the same, but at line 6.
This is from a fresh install of Pligg 2.0 and the Captcha Module.

Any hints on how to resolve these errors will be helpful.

Blessings,

Ivan
Hey guys,

can someone direct me where I can find some juicy tutorials on how to tweak pligg source code?
I need to add a little section with a link to stories.

Thank you

Ondrej
Hi,

My Error Log has given me this notice:

PHP Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 in /libs/db.php on line 479.

I checked line 479, and this is what I found:

$this->show_errors ? trigger_error($str,E_USER_WARNING) : null;

I'm not sure what I need to do to this line to correct the php warning.
Help?

Thanks,

Ivan
