Search Results for "htaccess"

I use the old-old Pligg-version. Because search engines have indexed my site with WWW and without WWW, then I just added to a .htaccess a specific directive. This directive aims to make search engines index my site only without WWW. However, after that, I can't login to the admin panel (opens a blank page). In this regard, the question is:

what to do (to add something extra) to be able go to the admin panel?

Thanks in advance.
Hello All,

I upgraded the pligg version from 1.2 to 2.0 and trying to use ceo friendly links, I am using the .htaccess file which come with package. The problem is doesn't redirect to new.php

Here is file

AddDefaultCharset UTF-8

## 404 Error Page
## If Pligg is installed in a subfolder, change the below line to ErrorDocument 404 /name-of-subfolder/error_404.php
ErrorDocument 404 /error_404.php
ErrorDocument 403 /error_404.php
ErrorDocument 500 /error_404.php

## Re-directing Begin

RewriteEngine on
## If Pligg is installed in a subfolder, change the below line to RewriteBase /name-of-subfolder
RewriteBase /
## Force forward slash at the end of URL
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(.[a-zA-Z0-9]{1,5}|/)$
## If installed in a subfolder, you will need to add that directory after {HTTP_HOST} on the next line.
RewriteRule (.*)([^/])$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1$2/ [R=301,L]

## If installed in a subfolder you may need to add ## to the beginning of the next line
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,9} /.*index.php HTTP/

## Comment out or remove these two lines if you have a sub-domain like: or http://localhost
## Keep if your site is like:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^localhost
RewriteRule .* http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
##### Re-directing End #####

## The settings that you should configure are all
I noticed that your .htaccess file already has redirect codes.
How do I configure this to my SSL's HTTPS protocol?

This is the code I was given to place in my .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$$1 [R=301,L]

But I notice in the Pligg .htaccess file there is a complex system of RewriteCond's and Rules.
Also, when I did this before I place this code, and then in settings.php I changed HTTP to HTTPS, and was able to be fully secured, but my Admin panel went all wonky into permanent edit mode.
I tested this in Pligg 2.0 and the same thing happens, but actually worse in appearance.

I would like to do this as clean as possible, so that everything works properly.
Please help?
