Pligg Support


I get an Error 404 in my sitemap. Can you help me how to fix this issue?


Possible Answers

    Again, I believe this issue is related to your site not being configured for URL Method 2, which is required in order for you to generate sitemaps using a .xml url. You need to rename your htaccess.default file to .htaccess and be on a server with mod_rewrite enabled.

    Furthermore, if you are using the default Pligg sitemaps module the URL would be

    I think you need to modify the lines (those that refer to the Sitemap module) in your .htaccess since you're on a subdomain:

    RewriteRule ^sitemap-([a-zA-Z0-9]+).xml module.php?module=xml_sitemaps_show_sitemap&i=$1 [L]

    It's mean when i install Pligg in domain (not in sub-domain) i can access my sitemap? Am i right?
