Pligg Support

Hi, I'm a new user to Pligg and i have been struggling with the issue of sorting in ChuckRoast 's sidebar stories module.
I want to be able to set sidebar stories in a way that I can see there top voted stories from today or last week or last month (i'll do buttons to change timeframe).

I have found libs/sidebarstories.php and at the beginning there is :

class SidebarStories {
var $pagesize = 5; // The number of items to show
var $orderBy = ""; // The sorting order
var $filterToStatus = "all"; // Filter to "all" or just "published" or "new"
var $filterToTimeFrame = ""; // Filter to "all" or just "published" or "new"

I see that I can filter timeframe to all or published, but i want to filter it by 'today', 'week', 'month'.

I thought that if I make following changes it'll work but i was mistaken :)

class SidebarStories {
var $pagesize = 5; // The number of items to show
var $orderBy = "link_votes DESC"; // The sorting order
var $filterToStatus = "all"; // Filter to "all" or just "published" or "new"
var $filterToTimeFrame = "week"; // Filter to "all" or just "published" or "new"

None of my changes worked, so I'd like to ask for help in finding solution to this problem
Thanks

P.S. there is quite nice solution for setting timeframe but for older pligg i think: http://forums.pligg.com/questions-comments/10341-set-time-frame-sidebar_stories_u-php-number-days.html

Including Files or Code

Sometimes it is necessary for you to attach a file or include a snippet of code for others to reference in your response. In most cases, you can .zip up files and attach them to a question or answer using Pligg's file manager. At times though this may fail, and in these circumstances we recommend using a third party host.
