Step 1: Rename the "htaccess.default" file (located in Pligg's root directory) to ".htaccess".
Step 2: If your Pligg site is on a subdomain or subdirectory, you will need to edit the .htaccess file in a text editor. Instructions are included within the file.
Step 3: From the Admin Panel sidebar, select "SEO" under Settings. For the field "URL Method" change the value to "2", this enables the SEO URL method.
