Pligg Support

Hello,
When registering a new user using the facebook module, I get an infinite redirect error. It contacts my facebook app correct, I can login to facebook in the popup dialog, authorise information retrieval and sharing etc, but when I submit it just bounces back and forth between facebook and fb.php.

I've created the app correct in facebook, and i've installed the facebook module (fb) in pligg and configured correctly with the keys.

site url: http://news.hyperlingo.com

Please could you help me solve this issue?
Thanks
Carl
So after putting in a URL, description, tags, and selecting a category, then clicking "submit" a page with no new story appears. The header (the blue with "new" "submit" "admin" etc is there though.
And the page after you click submit is new.php
Any ideas?
Freshly installed Pligg 2.0.2 and no changes on any settings and template.

All submissions were not successful because it will show: "URL is invalid or blocked:" even though URLs are valid.

Even if Submit > Validate URL is set to false, it still shows that error.
There is a php file sidebarstories which looks interesting like it does what I need but I don't know how to use it. I want 4 tabs saying day/week/month/all and under each tab it list the top (5-10) stories for that time frame.

If anyone can help me in getting the most upvoted stories I will reward $10 via paypal or amazon vouchers. Maybe more if I'm happy :)
Hey i was wondering if it was possible to manually sticky/feature items at the top of the home page. Is there a module do this? I want to have "editor's picks" at the top, so people can easily see what i think is the best content.
Hi, I've installed the Tweet module and it is tweeting away nicely. I want to be able to exclude our admins from the auto-tweeting though, as we schedule our tweets using hootsuite. I just want it to tweet when all other normal users submissions are published. The current option only lets me list users to tweet from.

Thanks, Carl
I am building up a site at http://dollar.bargains and managed to add a few products in there initially, but have made quite a few changes including to latest version but I can no longer post. Would having $ signs in my category names create an issue ? I don't get an error messages - just nothing posts.
I have noticed that there is deficiency of webmaster forum for pligg where admin of pligg powered website can chit chat and discuss. Anyone interested to join to start a small pligg admin talk kind of forum for webmaster.
I want to add extra comment field. I have tried as following:

1. Created extra column "extra_comment_field" into "pligg_comments" table

2. Added following code to comment_form.tpl
input type="text" name="extra_comment_field" id="extra_comment_field"

3. Added following lines into comment.php

$extra_comment_field= $db->escape($this->extra_comment_field);

And changed following line:

 $sql = "INSERT IGNORE INTO " . table_comments . " (comment_parent, comment_user_id, comment_link_id, comment_karma, comment_date, comment_randkey, comment_content, extra_comment_field, comment_status) VALUES ($comment_parent, $comment_author, $comment_link, $comment_karma, FROM_UNIXTIME($comment_date), $comment_randkey, '$comment_content', '$extra_comment_field', '$comment_status')";

But it is not writing data to db column ? What am I doing wrong, please help me. I am new to php and pligg.

If the Group creator "Banned" a Group member, it has no effect and the banned member can still share stories to that Group. The banned member's profile shows he's still joined in that group.

If the Group creator edit the member to become Admin or Moderator, the edited member still doesn't have permissions as an Admin or moderator.

The Group creator can even banned himself and still he's the Admin of that group. IMO, the original Group creator should not be able to banned himself or set it's role to just Normal & Moderator.
