Pligg Support

This is what I get every time a post with and apostrophe is submitted

[10-Jan-2014 21:52:13 UTC] PHP Warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'T JUDGE RIGHT AWAY!'' at line 5 in ...../libs/db.php on line 479

The line number changes, but the message always the same. I dotted out the path, since that's irrelevant.

Any clues why this happens?
hi, is there a trick to use the timestamp which comes with an article via rss importer plugin (as feed field name) as the submission date of the article in pligg? is there a variable i can link the field to or any other trick?
[ASK] how to limit the number of characters that appear in the notice publish news?

I set myself up as a User but when I log in there is now way to manage my profile as the page is blank.

Hi, I've been getting tons of errors ever since I activated the Facebook Module:

[15-Aug-2013 20:03:14 America/Denver] OAuthException: An active access token must be used to query information about the current user.

[15-Aug-2013 21:51:49 America/Denver] CSRF state token does not match one provided.

[15-Aug-2013 23:39:41 America/Denver] OAuthException: Error validating access token: Session has expired at unix time 1376622000. The current unix time is 1376631581.

These are the main three that repeat themselves.

Thanks,

Ivan
As of Pligg CMS version 2.0.2, the Voting feature on comments is not visible due to some code. To fix it, follow these steps:

Open /templates/bootstrap/comment_show.tpl
LINE # 10 ..... CHANGE THIS {if $Enable_Comment_Voting eq 1} TO THIS {if $Enable_Comment_Voting eq true}
LINE # 12 ..... CHANGE THIS {if $Enable_Comment_Voting eq 1} TO THIS {if $Enable_Comment_Voting eq true}
Save and close

Open /templates/bootstrap/user_comment_center.tpl
LINE # 72 ..... CHANGE THIS {if $Enable_Comment_Voting eq 1} TO THIS {if $Enable_Comment_Voting eq true}
Save and close

An error is generated when the statement that evaluates the comment_buries_spam value. To fix it, see the last section of the attached link.

Hello,
There is a additionnals catogories fonction in Pligg. Nonetheless, with the Rss import module, we can't choice multiple catogories for a rss feed.
In Pligg, additionnals categories are stored in another table than category.
I'm sure it's will be very simple to add that fonctionnality. But I'm not really a PHP pro, so, I can't find where in files where I can add support for multiple categories.
Is someone can help me ? Even if it is just an indication ?
Thank you
PS : Sorry for my bad English, I'm French ! :(
Hi, I have not made any changes to the standard template except cosmetic ones (changing Stories to Ideas). I have the Discard feature from Voting set to 0 but every time a story reaches -1 votes it is automatically put into Discarded rather than going negative and remaining visible for others. I've seen this as an issue before for submitting going straight to Discarded but I can't seem to find the solution or the Closed Issue that is mentioned. Can someone help me out? I'm running the latest version (just installed a day ago).
This error seems to pop up with almost every completed captcha. Template: OTNewz.

The template developer couldn't tell me why this happens, I hope you have an idea.

[11-Jan-2014 02:19:40 UTC] PHP Fatal error: TPL: [in ./modules/captcha/captchas//solvemedia/captcha.tpl line 12]: syntax error: file 'messaging_tpl_patherror.tpl' does not exist in ..../class.template.php on line 949

Path dotted out again.

I tried to overwrite the captcha.tpl in the solvemedia library, but it doesn't seem to make a difference, regardless if it's the latest plugin or not.

Welcome to Pligg CMS!

It looks like you've just set up a new Pligg website. Now would be a good time to submit your first article and then publish it to the homepage.
