Agree. If Pligg still release RC that mean no stable version and who knows if the RC is stable without bug? I hope you will consider to release a stable version. bloogmoo Stable release of Pligg 2.0 412 days
The milestones defined on Github are probably the best way to estimate how far off the next release is. Right now we have a lot of issues being reported and marked for review, meaning that we have a lot of bugs to fix before we can claim to be stable. As Oxy also mentioned in a separate comment, we really depend on the community to help us continue development and bug testing. We have limited resources and can only afford to have one developer (besides myself) working on Pligg CMS issues. If anyone else out there wants to contribute fixes, we welcome any helpful contributions made to our GitHub project page. Yankidank Stable release of Pligg 2.0 413 days
IMO, we as Pligg CMS users should also participate in the development of Pligg. Since most of us have little to no knowledge of PHP (I assumed), we can help the Pligg developers through testing and reporting possible bugs. OxyThemes Stable release of Pligg 2.0 414 days
There's a Milestone at https://github.com/Pligg/pligg-cms/issues/milestones - I think that would give as an idea when. OxyThemes Stable release of Pligg 2.0 414 days
I agree! Lets hope they release the stable version soon. supertramp Stable release of Pligg 2.0 414 days
I believe it was June 2012 when the news about Pligg 2.0 upgrade first came out. Alas, after over a year there is still no date on when a stable release of Pligg 2.0 will be available. I do understand that the Pligg developers are working very hard and using their own personal time to develop this open source product and I am truly grateful for that. But, after waiting for so long, I am discouraged about this product and wondering, should I wait further or move on to other open source product. lintu Stable release of Pligg 2.0 414 days

As it turns out, 'Moderated' is not a default status for stories, but it is for comments. Comments use: 'discard','moderated','published', and 'spam' statuses Stories use: 'discard', 'new', 'published', 'abuse', 'duplicate', 'page', and 'spam'. What is really odd about this is that I don't see any trace of the 'duplicate' status outside of the install script for Pligg. Pligg isn't using it right now, so I'm not sure why it even exists. Similarly, the 'abuse' status is not being used anywhere. I think that I will rename 'abuse' and remove 'duplicate' for the next version. Yankidank What are "Discarded" stories? 424 days
Isn't 'moderated' a fourth status? And I'm working on a 'hidden' status to keep some unwanted RSS submissions from being resubmitted. Deleting doesn't work as the RSS resubmits the deleted posts. jhawkin What are "Discarded" stories? 424 days
The "Discarded" term for Pligg CMS represents stories that are awaiting deletion from the database. Similar to how in the Windows and Mac operating systems you can move files to a recycle bin, and then fully remove those files from your hard drive by emptying the bin. Discarded stories are removed from public view so that only administrators and moderators can see the submission when accessing the page URL. Should an admin want to remove the story permanently from the database, they can do that by running the "Delete Discarded Stories from Database" link available on the Admin > Manage > Submissions page or from the Admin Dashboard. View the upgrade instructions included in the readme.html file included with Pligg. You should back up both your Pligg files and database before upgrading in case you need to revert back for any reason. Yankidank Pligg CMS 2.0.0 RC2 Now Available 425 days
How to upgrade from pligg 1.2.2 to pligg 2.0.0. RC 2 what if i upgarde its will lost my user and post ? please help me . my site is www.zokerbro.com. zokerbro Pligg CMS 2.0.0 RC2 Now Available 425 days
my unprofessional opinion would be m8 some where in your files you have an include() in the file calling smarty and its being called more than once try if you can find the file that does the posting you will need to ask one of the professionals here to know which file exactly my guess would be in submit.php include_once(), instead of using include() user_5230411 Pligg CMS 2.0.0 RC2 Now Available 425 days

Can I simply replace the old files with the new ones without going through the upgrade process? ufodisko Pligg CMS 2.0.0 RC2 Now Available 425 days
You can always see the all changes from the repository at the following url. github.com/Pligg/pligg-cms You can narrow down the changes to just the template files by going to this link. github.com/Pligg/pligg-cms/tree/master/templates/bootstrap It looks as though only 3 files in the templates were altered. The rest were core files. user_settings_center.tpl template_details.php css/style.css ChuckRoast Pligg CMS 2.0.0 RC2 Now Available 425 days
Can we know what files changed from RC1 to RC2? I already made modifications to the template that I do not want to lose them. I also fixed the auto scroll and I don't want to lose that either. ufodisko Pligg CMS 2.0.0 RC2 Now Available 425 days
