The RSS Import module allows you to import your favorite RSS feeds into your Pligg CMS site as submissions. It is the easiest way to automate your website to bring in fresh content on a regular basis. It is also a great way to build content on a new website and attract more visitors.
In order to bring in stories automatically, you will need to set up a cron job (scheduled task) to import the latest articles at regular intervals. If you are unfamiliar with setting up a cron job, please consult your web host’s documentation. Without setting up a cron job, you will need to manually trigger the RSS Import module’s import function by accessing the /modules/rss_import/import.php file in your browser, or by triggering it from the RSS Import settings page.
This module is developed as an unofficial Pligg module, which means that we will only provide very limited support for this item. For the latest development version of this module, please visit the RSS Import GitHub development directory. If you would like to report a bug or request a feature, please do so by starting a new issue on this page. Don’t forget to include the module name, a detailed description of the problem, and instructions on how we might be able to reproduce it.
