Module doesn’t show up on the Register tab, only on Login, witch gets a bit confusing when people come to site for the first time, and looking to register, they can’t just press button to register using facebook logins.. only way to register is to press “login with facebook” witch is confusing if you not registered. I think you guys need to sort this out, because that doesnt work..

      1. The version number update alert glitch can be fixed by uninstalling then re-installing the module. You can do this quickly from the Admin module management pages, without losing any of your module settings. Pligg’s module version check function only updates module numbers when being installed, so whenever you upload a newer version you need to re-install it to get the correct number.
      2. Are you using the latest version of this module available, and Pligg CMS 2.0.0 final which was released just a couple days ago? Even if you are on an earlier (rc1, rc2) Pligg 2 version, you should probably still see the Facebook login button on the register page unless you are currently logged in to a Facebook connected account.
      3. Installation instructions are included in the module’s readme file. You can access this file by either directly opening it from /modules/fb/fb_readme.htm, or you can view it by clicking on the “Facebook Module” title on the module management pages (/admin/admin_modules.php?action=readme&module=fb).

That’s a common (and ignorable) error message that you will find in the error log, but it shouldn’t be preventing you from accessing the admin panel. Please send me a support request via and I’ll look into whatever your issue is: http://pligg.com/contact/

I has purchased the Facebook module 4.6 on Aug 14, 2013. I can not update the latest version 4.7. There is only version 4.6 in the download section.

      :

Sorry about that. That was a problem on our end. For some reason we didn’t have the latest version attached to the product. I’ve updated it so that version 4.7 of the Facebook module can be downloaded.

I have a proplem with the plugin. I someone is creating a account with facebook the email field is not filled in the database so no one else can register with facebook afterwards because they all have the same email then (null). Please provide support.

    • out of 5

      :

Email addresses should be imported into the database from Facebook during registration. If you send us a support request via our contact page (http://pligg.com/contact/) we’ll help you out. We will probably need to ask you for your FTP and Pligg login details so that we can log in to your site and troubleshoot the issue on your own server.
