First a couple “shout-out’s” to make. Thanks go out to Rodrigue at Cree1site.com, Jérôme at LIJE Creative, and Sebastien for making contributions today. It makes me feel all warm and squishy inside. Also my apologies to Julien at Simulationtatouage.com for forgetting to add his link in the sidebar last week. It was a pretty hectic week for me, as usual. Now on to other news.
I’ve got a new bounty. For those of you that are not aware I’ll explain. Every once in a while I’ll place a bounty on a certain Item from my Amazon Wishlist and when someone gets me the item, they in turn receive a special reward or service performed for them that would generally cost them at least twice as much as the cost of the bounty item. I haven’t done one in a while so I figured today would be a good time to do one cause it’s something I could really use right about now.
The bounty item is this keyboard. I go through keyboards pretty quick. Usually about 3 per year. I had selected that particular keyboard not because it’s a gaming keyboard. I’m not into gaming, but they are generally more durable and made to take a beating. And when you type as much as I do, you need something that can handle the abuse. It also has back-lights so I can see a little better at night when needed. I write most of my code in the dark anyway.
So the Bounty reward this time around is going to be an Android App for your site, developed by me under my license, and published to the Google Play Marketplace. Your App will be free to download on any device running Android. Which means millions of potential users having one click access to your site.
You claim the bounty by buying the keyboard from my wishlist. Make sure you view Amazon Page first to make sure nobody else beat you to it and it’s still listed as unpurchased. To the person who claims the bounty. After you’ve made the purchase. Come back to my wishlist page here and leave a comment that you claimed it. Comments are not publicly posted, so it only goes to me. It’s a way for me to get your email so I can contact you to start the process of building your Android App.
Now on to some Pligg news. We patched a couple more bugs last night. So progress is still moving forward at a pretty rapid rate. I would hope that everything will be completed, packaged, and ready to go by the end of the month. But don’t quote me on that. Every time we plan a release date something catastrophic happens at the last minute. So I don’t want to jinx it.
If you would like to contribute you can do so from here . I could really use a couple of angels right about now. A couple big donations would help ease my constant fear of having to go back to that homeless shelter. It’s always on my mind, and keeps me up at night. I need to remain positive and focus on my goals. Try my best to get, and stay healthy. I have good days and bad days. Unfortunately I don’t get to control which days are good and which ones are bad.
Tune in tomorrow.
