A “shout-out” to Jérôme at redyme.com for being the only contributor today. This is Jérôme’s 3rd time making a contribution so an extra thanks to him. Traffic to the site seems unusually high today for a Monday. Yet contributions are down. So far this past weekend we’ve ported Pligg 2.x.x into 5 different languages. English, French, Italian, German, and thanks to Henrik for the Swedish translation.
I need to do my best to get some donations coming in fast. I could lose my house in 10 days, thanks to the government. I guess I’ve been foolishly squandering my money on things like food, heat, and medical bills. So I’m going to offer a special reward for those that contribute $100 or more. You will get a Android App developed and published by me to the Android Marketplace (Google Play). This will be including all the Level 4 rewards.
You do not need to be running a Pligg site to get this Android App. I can make and publish for any type of website. But hurry up cause this offer will end Friday February 22nd at 9am EST. If you have questions pertaining to the Android App I recommend reading these F.A.Q’s. It’s a great way to boot traffic to any site by offering it as a one click icon on the many mobile devices running Android. Sites that are running Pligg will also get my new EZ ios App module, which makes it easy for viewers of your site on Iphone or Ipad to bypass the App store and effortlessly add your site to their home-screens.
Today I am working on an Responsive HTML5 Video module for Pligg 2.x.x. I am happy to see that Opera has decided to switch over to Webkit. That is going to make designing things much more easier for developers of any website.
If you would like to contribute to me, you can do so from here.
If you can’t afford to make a contribution, you can help by spreading the word to your friends, on whatever social network you might use, even better, write an article about me on your blog.
Tune in tomorrow.
