Today I would like to thank Owen, Arnaud, En, Florent, and Alexandra. You guys all rock! Every little bit helps and it’s people like you that really help keep my spirits up during this ordeal. I would love to reach my goal but it seems very unlikely and so far away for me to even imagine at this point. I am still doing my best to remain positive.
Today I did a bunch of code writing. Mostly for new modules that are going to be available for Pligg 2 once it comes out. I’ve been watching the trend of mobile apps explode and have been writing a lot of new stuff that goes along with that. I could really use a cheap android tablet right now. That link leads to the one I have on my Amazon wishlist if anyone is interested in helping me obtain one so I can develop stuff specifically for android compatibility. As for mobile devices I already have an Iphone/IOS and an Ipaq which runs Windows mobile, so I’m good there. I just lack an android device. For desktop I still run XP and use VMware to run OSX and Backtrack5 (linux) and every major browser you can imagine. I also run Google’s OS on my Chromebook. Testing cross platform compatibility is real big with me.
I’ve also been working a lot with and researching xbmc code so I can create Pligg stuff specifically for web enabled televisions. My goal as a developer is to make it so a Pligg site can be used on any device without limitations. As many of you might not have noticed that all my modules in the Pligg pro shop are generally backwards compatible. I try to make my modules work on all versions of Pligg. Even if it’s not listed on the catalog page as being compatible. The only time is when a something requires a certain version or higher. For example, some admin widgets, because earlier versions of Pligg didn’t have the capability.
I am still at the homeless shelter. As I don’t yet have enough money to go home and make my home livable quite yet. But I’m getting there little by little. Thanks to all of you. I need to make sure that when I do leave here I am able to have all the essentials I need to spend some time working on the house.
If you would like to make a contribution you can use this link or this link. Either one, it doesn’t matter. Please share my Indiegogo page with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Stumbleupon, etc. If I’m going to reach my goal, I need traffic to that page so I can move up the crowd funding ladder and attract a larger audience. So any help with traffic would be well appreciated.
Tune in tomorrow
