Couple “shout-outs” Thanks to Xavier, Edouard, and Matthieu for your contributions. One person donated 10 cents. I’m not sure if it was meant as a joke or if it very well could have been the last 10 cents this person had. I would like to think the latter. Every little bit helps and I am determined to stay positive throughout this.
Today was a busy hectic day. I had to get up early and call 3 different doctors offices to see if each one could call in a 2 week supply of my medications to a pharmacy that was closing early for “New Years Eve”
After getting prescriptions taken care of there wasn’t a bus that goes out towards my home running that late and I can’t afford cab fare. Also there is no bus service tomorrow since it’ a holiday, so it looks like I’m going to be staying here at the homeless shelter for at least a couple more days.
I don’t plan on staying up to ring in the new year. After not having my medications for so long I’m sure they will put me right to sleep. They usually make me pretty groggy anyway. So I’m sure I’ll be extra groggy tonight.
I am going to try and settle in and write some code for a few hours before drifting off to lala land and waking up to a brand new year ahead of me. You could help me wake up with a big smile on my face by making a contribution if you can.
